Speedometer Gears for FORD Merkur Scorpio Sierra XR4Ti Odometer Repair Kit

Description:
If the odometer/trip meter on your vehicle has failed, these gears are usually the cause. Due to faulty materials, the teeth crumble over the years, and the odometer stops working or runs erratically. It usually starts with the small E-gear (planetary gear) breaking. To avoid having to do the assembly twice, we recommend replacing these two gears.

Quality:
Our gears are meticulously manufactured using injection molding, true to the original design, and are not 3D-printed. We work with a manufacturer specializing in the production of plastic gears and a global market leader in repair solutions.
The involute tooth geometry is maintained, ensuring low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives as the material. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grasp the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently. Friction is all that holds the needle on the shaft.
