Attention: There are several starter motor variants for the 986. A 1.2kW motor is required for manual transmissions, while Tiptronic transmissions require 1.7kW and 1.8kW motors.
The 1.2kW version has been replaced by the 1.7kW version and also fits manual transmissions.
