Description:
The transaxle shaft, also frequently called the central tube or cardan shaft, connects the front-mounted engine to the transmission located at the rear axle. This ensures optimal and even weight distribution in the vehicle.
A defective transaxle shaft is noticeable by a rumbling noise from the vehicle floor.
Previously, only complete shafts were available.
