Description:
The transaxle shaft connects the front-mounted engine to the transmission located at the rear axle. This ensures optimal and even weight distribution in the vehicle.
A defective transaxle shaft is noticeable by a rumbling noise from the vehicle floor.
Here you will receive a fully reconditioned central tube on an exchange basis.

The standard shafts have a 25mm diameter; we also offer the GTS shafts with a 28mm diameter.
For the early model years, there are two versions of the shaft. They differ in the attachment of the shift linkage to the transaxle tube. This offer includes a shaft with a tube length of 1446mm without a fixed bracket for attaching the shift linkage.

Process for the exchange procedure:
1. A core deposit is charged on your old component. This will be automatically added to your shopping cart and charged together with your order.
2. Simply return your old part to us using the enclosed return label.
3. After receipt and successful inspection of your old part, the deposit amount will be automatically refunded.

Requirements for accepting your old part:

It is an original part in undamaged condition (normal wear and tear is acceptable).
The old part is complete and corresponds to the scope of delivery of the pictured reconditioned part (incl. screws, attachments, etc.).

Cores with exceptional damage cannot be reconditioned. In this case, we have to return the part to you. This is the only way we can ensure a smooth exchange process.
