Description:
The four-valve technology is one of the sensitive parts of these otherwise robust engines: Regular replacement of the chain and its guide elements is essential to prevent major damage. Combined with the valve cover gasket set, you receive all the necessary parts to carry out the repair professionally.
Note:
On many vehicles, for cost reasons, only the upper guide shoe and the chain have been replaced over the years. However, the lower guide shoe also wears down and becomes porous. Therefore, it's best to prevent this risk and take a look under the valve cover.
