Description:
In this offer you will receive a complete set for the repair of the left display of the instrument cluster of a BMW 3 Series E36 or Z3 E36/7 "MFA" multifunction display.
After many years of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the sealing of the LCD elements eventually fails and the display "leaks". Although the component itself is still fully functional, the numbers and symbols can no longer be fully read. Aging of the associated conductive contact rubbers is also a common reason for incomplete readability of the displays. Even if the liquid crystal display (LCD for short) is still fully intact. As a "do it yourself" solution, you can also repair the display yourself as a hobbyist with the components offered here as well as our support and illustrated instructions. No complex assembly work or soldering is required for the repair.
Because the ageing of displays is a general problem, we generally advise against buying used "still intact" multifunction displays. Here too, it is only a matter of time before the display no longer works. Replacing your own display is therefore always the cheaper and best option in the long term.
