With this repair kit you can overhaul the gearshift linkage of your Porsche. This saves you the hassle of searching for the individual parts.

There are various smaller plastic rings on the gearshift lever of the 911 F/G models to guide and support the lever and gearshift rod. The plastic bushings wear out over time and the plastic hardens. The result is excessive play in the shift linkage. With new bushings and guide shells and sliding rings, you can revise your gearshift lever so that it functions smoothly and without play again.

The ball socket of the shift lever is heavily worn due to the many switching operations. Play in the shift linkage prevents precise, sporty shifting. In the 911 and 914 models, this ball socket is installed in the front of the gearshift bracket under the gearshift lever.
