Repaired easily and cheaply yourself

Description:
The original air conditioning controls of the Porsche 997 and 987 Cayman/Boxster have the well-known problem of leaking displays. The display turns bright in a semicircle or no longer shows all symbols properly.
However, if the other functions of the instrument are fully functional and only the display shows defects, you can use this repair kit to repair your air conditioning system.
The repair is no problem even for inexperienced screwdrivers without special tools and without soldering. The display is plugged in and can be repaired in just a few minutes using our repair guide. In this way, you not only preserve the originality of the vehicle, but also save several hundred euros compared to a new air conditioning system.
The LCD fits all Porsche 997 and 987 series.

The display is NOT suitable for the climate control panel with manual control, but ONLY for devices with automatic climate control.

Tip:
We generally advise against purchasing used, still intact air conditioning controls: it is only a matter of time before the display expires here too. It's better to save time, money and hassle and install a display that has been manufactured true to the original using modern manufacturing technology and tighter tolerances.
