Description :
La cause la plus fréquente d'un défaut de la barre stabilisatrice est l'endommagement des douilles en caoutchouc. En raison de la fragilisation des coussinets en caoutchouc, la barre stabilisatrice perd son amortissement avec le temps. En raison de la charge mécanique, les caoutchoucs de la barre stabilisatrice sont usés et rigides au bout d'un certain temps, ce qui provoque des bruits de cognement dans le châssis. Les douilles de barre stabilisatrice défectueuses se manifestent en outre par un comportement de conduite spongieux dans les virages.
