Description:
The most common cause of control arm defects is the rubber bushings, which become brittle and crack over time. This results in increased play in the control arm without the desired damping. Consequently, a defective rubber control arm bushing is noticeable through reduced tracking accuracy, noise when driving over bumps (rattling), poorer handling in corners, and uneven tire wear. Polyurethane (PU) suspension bushings, on the other hand, offer significantly longer durability and improve, among other things, handling and driving feel in corners.
