Description:
Radial shaft seals are naturally subject to an aging process and sealing lips become brittle after years. Leaking shaft seals are a phenomenon that varies in frequency depending on the installation position and external influences. Because even high-quality sealing rings are hardly a major cost factor, the installation costs always outweigh any leaks. It is therefore always advisable to replace seals as a precautionary measure as part of other repairs. We offer a variety of shaft seals for classic and modern Porsches. When it comes to seal manufacturers, we only rely on tried and tested products.
This shaft seal is located on the 996 Carrera 4 at the output of the transmission towards the front axle and on the specified water boxer engines on the front side of the rear engines.
