Description:
If the odometer/trip odometer on your vehicle has failed, this gear is usually the cause. To avoid duplicate installation work, we recommend replacing these two gears in pairs.
The matching gear for the E15 can be a 15-Kor17-K. It's best to count the teeth beforehand!
Dimensions:
Diameter E15 = 6.90 mm (15 teeth)
Diameter 15-K = 15.4 mm (15 teeth)
Possible corresponding disc gears: 15-Kor17-K
For comparison:
Diameter E20 = 8.60 mm (20 teeth)
Corresponding disc gear: 15-M = 17.6 mm (15 teeth)
Note:
The 964 can be fitted with either an E15 OR an E20. A corresponding offer for the E20 set can also be found in our shop.
Unfortunately, the assignment between engine type/transmission type/year of manufacture/model and the gear type is so complex that only counting the teeth provides certainty. Please count the teeth before purchasing.

Our gears are meticulously manufactured using injection molding, true to the original design, and are not 3D-printed in-house creations. We collaborate with a manufacturer specializing in the production of plastic gears and a global market leader in repair solutions.
The involute tooth geometry is maintained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives as the material. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.
If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently. Friction is all that holds the needle on the shaft.
