Speedometer gear wheel for mechanical VDO odometer roller gear wheel D3.0

Description:
There are two weak points in the odometers of the mechanical speedometers:
The first is the gear wheel at the extreme end of the odometer shaft.
The second is this roller wheel: it very often tears radially with a fine hairline crack. This means that it no longer sits firmly on the shaft, but can be turned with a small screwdriver.

There are three different variants:
A) Total width 4.5mm; tooth width 1.3 mm
B) Total width 5.4 mm; tooth width 2.2 mm
C) Total width 6.0mm; tooth width 3.0 mm

Simply measure the tooth width of the roller gear. We have all three variants available and usually also online.
The respective auction title indicates the variant with D1.3 or D2.2 or D3.0.

The gear wheels are suitable for all mechanical VDO speedometers from various vehicle brands. Unfortunately, we cannot specify the exact dimensions for all models, so simply check by measuring.

Note:
We strongly recommend that you also replace the other gear (driven by the worm) if you have dismantled and opened the speedometer anyway. Look in the store for the right sizes. They are called M10, M11, M12, M13, M14, M15, M16, M17, M18, M19, M21, M25 and differ in the number of teeth.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grip the speedometer needle in the center and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
