We at partworks GmbH offer our customers particularly fair prices for original reconditioned control arms, steering shafts, transaxle shafts, digital clocks and air conditioning control units. This is only possible if our customers send us their old parts to be reconditioned by a certified specialist company.
We charge a deposit on these replacement parts, which is automatically refunded to you as soon as we have received and inspected your old part. Please refer to the item description for the amount of the deposit.
In order to ensure a safe and smooth process, please enclose a brief note with the parcel stating the customer name, invoice number and the relevant chargeback account.
Procedure:
- Buy a refurbished item
- Save deposit (already included as an item in the shopping basket when purchasing in the online shop)
- Receive refurbished original
- Send back the old part with the enclosed return label
- Reimbursement of the deposit amount after inspection of the old part
Non-typical damages include:
- broken aluminum
- damaged circuit boards
- bent or rusted parts
- for dual ignition distributors, severe damage such as a break under the outer O-ring
- for shafts, severe damage, especially to the shaft's gearing and bearing surfaces (For a bent shaft with a "knock" / irregular rotation, we can only refund half of the deposit amount, as additional straightening work is required.)
