Description:
If the odometer/daily odometer on your vehicle has failed, this gear is usually the cause. The adjacent disk gear also often fails. To avoid double installation work, we recommend replacing the E15 and the disk gear in pairs. You can find corresponding offers in the store.
The matching disk gear for the E15 on the 993 is a 17-K. It is best to count the teeth in advance and simply search for the designations (17-K) in the store.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grip the speedometer needle in the center and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
