Description:
If your vehicle vibrates several times while driving on uneven roads or when pushed down while stationary, the shock absorbers may be defective and should be replaced. Creaking and squeaking noises are also an indication of this. Here you will receive a pair of high-quality replacements from the Bilstein brand. In addition to the original B4 replacement, you can usually also find sportier, stiffer B6 and shortened B8 variants in our shop. These shock absorbers are suitable for the specified 924 and 944 models with Sachs/Boge struts as well as the VW Beetle 1303 from 09/73 with standard suspension. A cartridge wrench with an inner diameter of 50mm is recommended for installation.
For pressed shock absorbers from 944S2 and 968, we have the threaded sleeve conversion kit under item number 7305 in our program, which makes it possible to also use the screwed Bilstein shock absorbers.

Depending on the version, this set can be supplemented with set 8448 (years of manufacture up to 84) or 1969 to form a complete front and rear axle set.

August Bilstein founded the AUBI company in Ennepetal as early as 1873 and began developing and supplying monotube gas pressure dampers in 1954 - a significant contribution to the history of the automotive industry. From 1961 onwards, the company entered racing and particularly equipped Porsche and Formula 1 racing cars. Since then, Bilstein has stood for excellent quality and offers various solution concepts for many premium manufacturers. After the takeover of Krupp Stahl AG in 1991 and the merger with Thyssen in 1997, the company name ThyssenKrupp Bilstein GmbH was created.
