Description:
The transaxle shaft connects the engine installed at the front with the gearbox located at the rear axle. This ensures optimum and even weight distribution in the vehicle.
A defective transaxle shaft is noticeable by a humming noise on the vehicle floor.
Here you can get a reconditioned central tube in exchange.

The standard shafts have a diameter of 25mm, we also have the GTS shafts with 28mm in our range.
There are 2 versions of the shaft for the early model years. They differ in the attachment of the shift linkage to the transaxle tube. You are purchasing a shaft with a tube length of 1446mm with a fixed bracket for attaching the shift linkage.

Procedure:
We charge a deposit on your old shaft.
Please transfer the deposit amount directly via the Paypal website after purchase.
If you pay by bank transfer, please let us know your account details for the return transfer by email.
After receiving your old transaxle shaft, we will automatically refund the deposit.
Please understand that we are unable to accept shafts with rust-through or gross damage, particularly to the splines of the shaft and its bearing surfaces, and that we can only accept original parts. In the case of a warped shaft with a "knock" / out-of-round running, we can only refund half of the deposit amount, as additional straightening work is required.
