The shift knobs on the 924 and 944 have worn out at some point. The only option is to cover them with a new shift bag. When removing and fitting the gearshift insert, the snap hooks on the cap often break off. In addition, the pattern becomes scratched or the filigree collar of the cap breaks. The original cap is not available from the manufacturer and good used shift levers have become rare. We now have newly produced gear knob caps available for you. The inserts are suitable for 5-speed manual gearboxes and are available in black or brown.
