Description:
The starter ring gear is attached to the flywheel. A defective starter motor or very frequent starts will damage the teeth of the ring gear. When working on the clutch, it is therefore advisable to check the condition of the ring gear and replace it if necessary.
You can get high-quality replacements here.
Attention, from 89 the G50 transmission was installed in the Turbo (5-speed). This starter ring gear only fits the 4-speed 930 transmission.
