The compensating port, together with the intermediate pipe, forms the connection between the heat exchanger and the center silencer.
We have it made of steel and stainless steel in our range. If individual components of the exhaust system such as the heat exchanger or the exhaust are changed, the corresponding seals should always be replaced. This is the only way to ensure that the manifold, turbocharger, catalytic converter, exhaust, heat exchanger / heating flap box, etc. together form an absolutely tight system.
