The right ignition coil for your Porsche

Description:
The ignition coils on modern water-cooled Porsche boxer engines have been installed directly on the valve cover since the 986/996. They are connected to the spark plug connector, which is included in the scope of delivery. The ignition coil often fails in engines due to high temperature fluctuations. Depending on the model year and engine, two variants are installed. Before the facelift, the ignition coils were different than after the facelift. You can find each variant of the ignition coil individually or a cheaper set of 6 in our shop.

The BERU company, founded in Ludwigsburg in 1912, is one of the market leaders in the production of glow plugs, ignition coils and ignition distributor caps. Through constant optimization of the individual ignition systems, BERU quickly earned a reputation for producing particularly long-lasting products of high quality.
