-Noticeable drop in engine performance

-Failure of the kick-down function in automatic transmissions

There are many causes for a defective LMM:
-Water has penetrated the air filter during heavy rain and damaged the sensor
-Dirt particles in the intake manifold damage the air flow meter
-many sensors can "free themselves" with the help of a "free-burn program", but they wear out over time
