Description:
Oil lines are inconspicuous components, but if they are defective they can cause major damage. They connect the engine, oil cooler or the chain tensioner of the timing chain for years without appearing.
If there is a crack/break, large amounts of oil will escape (possibly the entire contents of the oil tank) and the component will no longer be reliably supplied with engine oil.
It is therefore advisable to replace the oil hoses or lines if they are obviously aging before damage can occur.
During full restorations, all oil lines or oil hoses are usually replaced.

This oil line is for the mechanical injection pumps (MFI / Mechanical Fuel Injection).
