Description:
The air conditioning compressor has a high mechanical resistance, which always leads to high fuel consumption. A magnetic clutch is installed so that the compressor is only activated when necessary. This separates or connects the drive pulley to the compressor's drive shaft and thus transmits the engine's torque.
Common coupling defects include corroded plug contacts, worn reset mechanisms or a burnt out electromagnet coil.
