Description:
The hydraulic lifters are sensitive components of the cylinder head and begin to wear out over the years. The result is clicking noises caused by valve clearance. You can get both individual valve tappets and sets of 8 valve tappets in our shop.

In 1909, the Pierburg brothers founded Pierburg GmbH in Berlin, which has been producing carburetors ever since. In 1986, the Düsseldorf-based Rheinmetall Group took over the company and began building up the automotive technology division. In 1998, Pierburg merged with Kolbenschmidt AG, which was also acquired by Rheinmetall, to form Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG. This means that Rheinmetall AG is very well positioned when it comes to everything to do with engines. Within the Kolbenschmidt Pierburg Group, Pierburg is considered an expert in the areas of pollutant reduction, air supply and throttle valves.
