The right ignition coil for your Porsche

Description:
The ignition coils on modern water-cooled Porsche boxer engines are located directly on the valve cover. They are connected directly to the spark plug connector, which is included in the scope of delivery. The ignition coil often fails in engines due to high temperature fluctuations. Depending on the model year and engine, two variants are installed. Before the facelift, the ignition coils were different than after the facelift. The ignition coil is also available individually in our webshop.

The BERU company, founded in Ludwigsburg in 1912, is one of the market leaders in the production of glow plugs, ignition coils and ignition distributor caps. Through constant optimization of the individual ignition systems, BERU quickly earned a reputation for producing particularly long-lasting products of high quality.

Reference numbers:
Attention, the vehicle manufacturer has changed the scope of delivery of this item over time when updating the OE numbers. Therefore, an older OE number may contain more components than its current OE number. For example, the door hinge used to be delivered directly with a bolt and cotter pin and today all three components have their own OE number.
