Description:
The ignition coils on the modern water-cooled Porsche boxer engines from 986/996 and subsequent models are located directly on the valve cover. They are directly connected to the spark plug connector, which is included here. The ignition coil often fails in the engines due to high temperature fluctuations. Depending on the model year and engine, two variants are installed. Before the facelift, the ignition coils were different to those after the facelift. The ignition coil is also available separately in our webshop. You can also choose between two brands.
