Description:
On the odometers of mechanical speedometers, this gear very often breaks radially with a fine hairline crack. It then no longer sits firmly on the shaft and slides to the side.

Note:
We strongly recommend that you also replace the roller gear on the same shaft if you have already dismantled and opened the speedometer. Both gears are the typical weak points. If the gear can be turned on the shaft, it is already damaged.
There are 3 different thicknesses available (4.5mm; 5.4mm; 6.0mm).
Simply measure the total thickness of the gear and order the right one from the shop.

Quality:
Our gears are elaborately manufactured using injection molding, true to the original, and are not 3D-printed in-house. We work with a manufacturer that specializes in the production of plastic gears and is the global market leader in repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the center and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
