Process:

Installation/Removal Instructions:
1. Loosen the triangular, black plastic cover at the end of the dashboard, which is accessible when the passenger door is open.
2. Loosen the screw underneath the long, thin switch panel.
3. Carefully pull off the knobs of the two slide controls for the heating/air conditioning control using a small flat-head screwdriver or plastic putty knife.
4. Carefully loosen the cover panel for the heating/air conditioning control from the side using a plastic putty knife or very small flat-head screwdriver. The panel is attached with four small clips (two at the top, two at the bottom). Be careful, the old plastic parts break easily. Loosen all four screws on the control panel and pull it forward one centimeter.
5. Carefully turn the indoor sensor rosette (small, round grille) by about 30 degrees and then remove it. Undo the screw behind it.
6. Use a small flathead screwdriver to loosen the cover to the left of the right fan grille and the screws behind it.
7. You can now easily remove the switch panel and loosen the ATA with two screws. The plug, which is a bit stiff, is not clipped in and can be easily pulled off.
8. Keep the screws safe and send us only the display module. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Note:
Make sure that the hose of the interior sensor has not slipped off and ideally use a cable tie to secure it.

Duration:
15 min

Tip:
Avoid buying an ATA that is (still) intact but has never been completely overhauled. It is only a matter of time before it too stops working. Better to save time, money and hassle now.
