Description:
If the odometer counter on your transaxle is no longer running, this gear is usually broken. The repair is not complicated and will keep your speedometer in its original condition.

Variants:
!US models have the M17 installed. Simply search for "M17" in the shop!
Many 924 models also have the M14 and some the M15 installed; we also have offers for these in the shop.

Note:
We also recommend replacing the roller gear (on the same shaft). It is the second most common weak point in the drive. If the roller gear can rotate on the shaft, it is already damaged. There are 3 different thicknesses available (tooth width D1.3; D2.2; D3.0).
Measure the tooth width of the gear and order the right one from our shop if required.

Quality:
Our gears are elaborately and faithfully manufactured using an injection molding process and are not 3D printed in-house. We work with a manufacturer who specializes in the production of plastic gears and is the global market leader with its repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very sensitive. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
