Description: Damping plates are the connection from the brake piston to the brake pads. This reduces the noise development by sanding or squeaking brake pads and the wear is minimized. Since the sheets are usually glued and are sometimes exposed to high temperatures, there may be a stronger noise development at the end of a braking process. The damping sheets should therefore always be exchanged when the brake pad is renewed.
