Description:
The ignition coils on the modern water-cooled Porsche boxer engines from 986/996 and 987/997 are located directly on the valve cover. They are connected directly to the spark plug connector, which is included in the scope of delivery. The ignition coil often fails in engines due to high temperature fluctuations. Depending on the model year and engine, two variants are installed. Before the facelift, the ignition coils were different than after the facelift. You can find each variant of the ignition coil individually or a cheaper set of 6 in our shop. You can also choose between two well-known brands for the early models.
