Oil seal gearbox for PORSCHE 924S 944 968 Boxster 986 987C input shaft
The seal ring for the transmission input shaft
Description: Rotary shaft seals are naturally subject to an ageing process and sealing lips become brittle after years. Depending on the installation position and external influences, leaking oil seals are a phenomenon that occurs with varying frequency. Because even high-quality sealing rings are hardly a major cost factor, the installation costs always outweigh the costs of leaks. It is therefore always advisable to replace seals as a precautionary measure as part of other repairs. We offer a wide range of shaft seals for classic and modern Porsches. We only use tried and tested seal manufacturers. This oil seal is located on the transmission input shaft behind the clutch. The sealing ring is the same across many model years and vehicle models.
CORTECO is part of the Freudenberg Sealing Technologies company, which has been in existence since 1929. Freudenberg is regarded as the inventor of the Simmerring, which means that CORTECO can draw on many decades of this expertise. CORTECO produces a wide range of high-quality gaskets such as cylinder-head gaskets, oil pan gaskets and various oil seals.
