Description:
This belt drives the engine fan and alternator via the crankshaft. There are a number of different V-belts on the 911 G model. In our shop you will find the right, so-called “narrow V-belt” for your model. Please note that the length of the belt is different on the 911 3.0 SC. The limit is the specified chassis number. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us. By the way, this alternator V-belt is always part of the standard on-board tool kit on the Porsche 911 F/G.

The belt for the fan wheel was replaced by Porsche some time ago from 9.5 mm to 10 mm wide. Since then there have been problems with the durability of the belts. They are under too much tension and tend to tear more quickly. We therefore recommend using the narrower version, which can be found under item number 3877.
