Description: This strap drives the motor fan and the alternator over the crankshaft. There are a number of different V-belts on the 911 G model. In our shop you will find the right, so -called "narrow chalk strap", for your model. Please note that the length of the string is different with the 911 3.0 SC. The border lies with the specified chassis number. If in doubt, please contact us. Incidentally, this V -belt of the alternator at Porsche 911 F/G is always part of the standard tool.
The strap for the fan wheel was replaced by Porsche from 9.5 mm to 10 mm width some time ago. Since then there have been problems with the durability of the straps. They are too much under tension and tend to tear faster. We therefore recommend using the narrower variant, this can be found on article number 3877.
