Description:
The protective tubes of the pushrods are eaten away by corrosion over the years. Oil loss and the risk of dirt in the engine oil are the result.
Rusted or leaking pushrod protection tubes should therefore be replaced immediately.
Replacing the tubes around the pushrods is standard during a comprehensive engine overhaul.
