Description:
The most common cause of wishbone defects are the rubber mounts, which become brittle and tear over time. This means that the wishbone has more play without the desired damping. Accordingly, a defective rubber bearing on the wishbone can be noticed in reduced tracking accuracy, noise development on bumps (rumbling), poorer driving dynamics when cornering and high tire wear on one side. Polyurethane (PU) chassis bushings, on the other hand, offer significantly longer durability and, among other things, improve handling and driving feeling in curves.
