Description:
Anchor plates protect the brake from the ingress of dust, dirt or fluid. This increases the service life of the individual components of a disc brake. Furthermore, anchor plates shield temperature-sensitive components of the chassis from the heat of the brake when stationary.
Rust, increased thermal stress or stone chips often lead to a damaged anchor plate. To prevent the failure of safety-relevant components of the chassis or the brake system, a damaged brake anchor plate should be replaced as soon as possible.
