Speedometer disc for PORSCHE 964 993 fuel gauge oil temperature dial
For restoring or converting your speedometer
Description: The speedometer sheets often fade over the years and are no longer easy to read. When restoring the instruments, it is therefore advisable to replace the speedometer dials. When converting import vehicles from miles to kilometers, the speedometer dials also need to be replaced. Here you get an elaborate reproduction made of polycarbonate. Since the digitally printed speedometer dials can have slight color differences from the possibly faded original, we recommend replacing all dials for the best possible result. On the 964 and 993 there were different versions of the speedometer and tachometer depending on the equipment (on-board computer, Tiptronic/shift). We have different variants and sheets for the additional instruments in our program.
Note on assembly: Do not tighten the dial's fastening screws tightly, just place them lightly against the dial. Coat the threads of the screw holes (blind holes) with a little clear nail polish beforehand (use toothpicks). The nail polish serves as screw lock. Tightening it tightly will cause the paint layer to peel off! To ensure even illumination of the numbers, the dial must be glued again where it was glued at the factory using a light-conducting adhesive (thin). We recommend “PolyMax-glasklar” from UHU. Be careful, use very thin!
