Thermostat for PORSCHE 928 S S4 GT GTS cooling water 83°C MAHLE
Opening temperature 83°C
Description: The thermostat controls the large and small cooling circuit and thus doses the cooling of the water-cooled engine. This ensures a short cold running phase while the engine is fully cooled under load. If the thermostat is defective or stuck, the engine will only run on one of the two cooling circuits. The result is unnecessarily long warm-up phases or the engine overheating. It is therefore important to replace a stuck thermostat early so that the temperature control of the cooling water can function properly again.
The MAHLE company was founded in Stuttgart in 1920 and initially specialized in the production of light metal pistons. Since 2010, MAHLE has been the majority shareholder of Behr, which is the ideal partner for topics such as engine cooling and air conditioning. This means that the product range of the over 100-year-old traditional company MALHE has been expanded again. In addition to pistons, cylinders and filter systems, they are constantly developing new, innovative solutions to help shape the future of mobility.
