If the odometer/trip meter on your vehicle has failed, then these gears are usually the cause. Due to incorrect materials, the teeth crumble over time and the counter stops or runs irregularly. It usually starts with the small E-gear (planetary gear) breaking. To avoid duplicate assembly work, we recommend replacing these two gears.

Quality:
Our gears are elaborately manufactured using an injection molding process, true to the original, and are not 3D-printed custom designs. We work with a manufacturer that specializes in the production of plastic gears and is the global market leader in its repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very sensitive. Grip the center of the speedometer needle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
