These washers are used to evenly distribute the screw tightening force on the spherical bearings of the drive shafts. Originals are very expensive and the old shims are usually rusted and worn out.
In addition, when working on the drive shaft, e.g. when replacing the axle boots, the screws should always be replaced.
In this set you will receive matching screws in yellow galvanized.
