Description:
If the counter on your VDO knot meter has stopped, then the gear shown is usually the cause. Due to a material defect, the old plastic decomposes and the beige original gear crumbles after a few years.

Variants:
20x21 - 20x32 (the large sprocket is constant, the small one varies from 21 - 32)
You can count the partner wheel of the small sprocket, the total of both must add up to 70.
1. Example: Partner bike =48 ->70-48 = 22 ->You need a 20x22
2. Example: Partner bike =38 ->70-38 = 32 ->You need a 20x32

Important:
There are several gear combinations. To ensure simple and quick processing, we ask you to tell us the number of teeth AND the instrument type with VDO part number in the comments field when purchasing. Without this information, we will send you the most commonly installed gear type.
If your double gear is too damaged, you can also count the number of teeth on the partner gear from the smaller gear. This refers to the gear that meshes with the smaller ring of this double gear.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything that keeps the needle on the shaft.
