The blocking tool is placed at the starter motor's mounting points and thus blocks the crankshaft via the gear ring. It is an indispensable special tool for working on the engine. The tool can be positioned without play thanks to the elongated hole. The component has a high manufacturing quality thanks to water jet cutting technology and TIG welding processes. The surface is galvanized. The locking tool fits the Porsche 968 with a dual-mass flywheel. This means it is not suitable for Porsche 968 Tiptronic models and also not for the 968CS. The CS models require the shorter crankshaft locking tool of the Porsche 944. If you want to carry out a major inspection on your vehicle, we also have suitable timing belt sets and water pumps for the Porsche 968 in our shop.
