Description:
If the odometer/trip meter on your vehicle has failed, then this gear is usually the cause. To avoid duplicate installation work, we recommend replacing these two gears in pairs.
The matching disc gear for the E15 can be a 15-Kor17-K. It is best to count the teeth beforehand!

Dimensions:
Diameter E15 = 6.90mm (15 teeth)
Diameter 17-K = 15.4mm (17 teeth)
Possible corresponding disc gears: 15-Kor17-K

Diameter E20 = 8.60mm (20 teeth)
corresponding disc gear: 15-M = 17.6mm (15 teeth)

Note:
The 964 can be fitted with either an E15 OR an E20. You can also find a corresponding offer for the E20 set in our shop.
Unfortunately, the correlation between engine type/gearbox type/year of manufacture/model and gear type is so complex that the only way to be sure is to count the teeth. Please therefore count the teeth before purchasing.

Our gears are manufactured with great care and true to the original using an injection molding process; they are not 3D-printed custom designs. We work with a manufacturer that specializes in the production of plastic gears and is the global market leader in its repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very sensitive. Grip the center of the speedometer needle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
