This sealing ring is located on the Porsche 924S and 944 between the catalytic converter/middle silencer and the rear silencer. The spacer ring sits in the flange of the exhaust pipes and ensures a seal while maintaining flexibility. You only need one such metal ring for the exhaust system per vehicle.
