Description:
The air conditioning compressor and the alternator in the 944 are driven by the same belt. Accordingly, depending on the equipment, you will need different V-belts for your units on the 2.5L engine. The 924S and 968 always have this V-belt installed. On the 944, the number of ribs changes between the early models before 05/85 and the facelift models after 06/85. The belt offered is only suitable for vehicles with an air conditioning system. The air conditioning option has the Porsche M code M573. The belt offered here is a so-called V-ribbed belt and is also called a poly-rip belt at Porsche. If you are looking for narrow V-belts or timing belts for your transaxle in addition to this, you will find them in our shop.
