Description:
The control chain with chain wheels, clamping rails and chain tensioners forms the most important connection between waves in the engine. It ensures the safe control of the valves. Capital engine damage threatens when one of the components fails. Mechanical / hydraulic chain tensioners should be serviced regularly to always tighten the control chain correctly. Components such as a clamping rail, a chain wheel or the chain should be replaced at first signs of wear. This is also noticeable through rattling engine noises.
