Description:
These caps sit between the valve cover and the cylinder head. The covers seal the bearing seats of the camshafts. On the early 996/986 engines there was only this variant of the cap. It was accordingly used on the front and rear of the intake camshaft and exhaust camshaft. The later engines have a different cover on one camshaft at the front (where the timing chains run).
