Description: These caps sit between the valve lid and cylinder head. The lids seal the storage seats of the camshafts. With the early 996/986 engines there was only this variant of the cap. It was used accordingly on the front and back on the entrance camshaft and outlet cam shaft. The later engines have a different locking lid on the front on the front (where the control chains run) on the one camshaft.
