Deflection roller 2 for PORSCHE 996 997 Carrera 3.8 987 Boxster -'08 roller
The guaranteed right wheels for your Porsche
Description: The Porsche models 996 and 997 as well as 986/987 Boxster and Cayman have a V-ribbed belt that is guided through two (sometimes identical) deflection pulleys and a tension pulley. These roles differ depending on the year of manufacture, type of transmission (Tiptronic/manual transmission) and engine type. Basically, the 911 turbo has a slightly different console for the belt tensioner. We have identified the right deflection pulleys and tension pulleys for you with complete vehicle details. You can purchase the tension pulleys and idler pulleys separately or in a set with the associated V-belts. Please note that the V-belt also changes due to the “air conditioning yes/no” equipment. You can find the correct vehicle assignment from the offer title and the “suitable for”. Depending on the variant, the roll sets have different endings in the article title (e.g. A1, A2, B1, D). If you have any questions, our customer service will be happy to help you by phone or in writing.
Founded in 1911 by Charles Gates in the USA, Gates is a world-famous manufacturer of drive components for automobiles. Charles' brother John Gates, who also worked in the company, invented the V-belt in 1917, which is still an integral part of drive technology today. Gates now has over 100 locations in 30 countries and continues to primarily produce and sell all types of belts for various applications.
