Description:
The connecting rod as a connection between the piston and crankshaft is exposed to high loads
On the storage areas of the crankshaft, the connecting rod is led with sliding bearings (connecting rods).
A defective connecting rod bearing is particularly noticeable through noise formation (knocking, clacking), which increases with increasing speed. If a damaged connecting rod bearing is not replaced promptly, there may be considerable consequential damage (eating of the warehouse) such as the destruction of the storage space on the crankshaft. Therefore, defective connecting rods should be changed immediately.
When working on the connecting rods, the connecting rods and nuts should always be changed.
